Bloom Glucose App Privacy Policy

The short version: Bloom keeps everything on your device. There is no account, no sign-in, and nothing is ever sent to us or anyone else. We cannot see your data because it never leaves your phone.

What Bloom is

Bloom is a personal diary for recording blood sugar readings, blood pressure, and meals during pregnancy. It is a tracking tool for your own use — it is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.

Information we collect

None. Bloom does not collect, transmit, store on our servers, sell, or share any personal information. We have no servers that receive your data, and we operate no analytics or tracking.

Where your data lives

Everything you enter — glucose readings, blood pressure, meals, notes, your doctor's target values, and app settings — is stored locally on your device. It stays on your phone. If you delete the app, that data is removed with it.

Your control over your data

  • Export: You can export all of your data to a file at any time from Settings, to keep a backup or share it with your care team.
  • Erase: You can permanently erase all data from the app at any time from Settings.

Notifications

If you turn on reading reminders, Bloom schedules local notifications on your device. These are generated entirely on your phone; no reminder information is sent anywhere.

Third parties

Bloom contains no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no third-party trackers. No data is shared with any third party.

Children

Bloom is intended for use by pregnant adults tracking their own health and is not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
